The New SAT and the CSU
The new SAT exam is now available for all students. The CSU will accept both old and new SAT exam scores from students currently in grades 9 – 12 (graduating before 2020). Any students graduating after 2020 will be required to take the new SAT. CSU applicants are not required to complete the optional essay portion of the test. Free SAT Test Prep for StudentsFor the first time ever, all students (regardless of educational or financial background) now have access to SAT test preparation programs free of charge. Through partnership with Khan Academy, these provided programs and supplemental materials are necessary resources to better prepare for the SAT and to drive college success. For students taking the current SAT, these resources are available at www.sat.org/practice or www.khanacademy.org/sat. |
